CSO Projects lecture 1.0

Tin returns to with an entirely new lecture, devised for CityStudio on the basis of what he had seen was necessary from the last two cohorts (2019-2020). Tin presented just a handful, yet personal approaches of how to deal with the topic of “societal projects”. The basis of this lecture, is Tin’s 5 years of experience on competitions, parallel commissions and different conceptual projects for private and public stakeholders. Tin went through topics such as team resources, timeframes, multiple briefs, interpretation of briefs, different creative approaches according to day/week/month timeframes, written reports, and finally the synthesis of all these. From there on, the students had to answer 5 key points: the brief, angle, approach, production and ulterior motive.

CityStudio Oslo (CSO) is a full-time course in collaboration with the City of Oslo across UiO, OsloMet, and NMBU. The course is led by Professor Per Gunnar Røe and Jennifer Valleé. Other teaching staff include: Erling Dokk Holm and Gro Sandkjær Hanssen.
