Hurtigpraksis Year Five + Plot Twist

Tin was invited to present Tin.uno Year Five, yet half ways into the presentation the audience noticed he had not started presenting any projects and was never intending in doing so. Instead he presented: Air Studio - Year One. Tin.uno directly addressed the challenges of being a one-man-army and identified the key factors he fundamentally had to change in Tin.uno:

  1. Tin.uno can not research without belonging to an institution.

  2. Tin.uno cannot collaborate without participating in the design process.

  3. Tin.uno can no longer practice as a one-man army.

  4. To protect his intellectual property, his collaborations are now limited to only topics related to his ongoing PhD. 5) His entire competition portfolio is therefore transferred over to the collaborative Air Studio with the ambition of pursuing the highest form of analytical design work - or as their mantra goes: “evidence based architecture”.

Hurtigpraksis, is a student-initiated workshop for students all over Scandinavia on professional practices in the field of architecture. Air Studio were invited among other esteemed S/M/L offices, among others Dark, Dronninga, Fragment, Mad, Manthey Kula, Nordic, Lala, Lund Slaatto, SLA, Snøhetta etc.
