The Fellow, The Queen, and a Three Year-Long Romance

Credit: Håkon Sparre.

Tin will be taking up a research fellowship on real estate and digitalisation at the Dept. of Property and Law, NMBU. His supervisors will be Knut Boge and Erling Dokk Holm.

This research aims to identify how emerging technologies will transform the way real estate projects are developed and its societal impact. In the pursuit of understanding emerging proptech, atleast 4 different fields have to be examined when assessing these possible impacts: space, culture, commerce, urbanity. This multi-dimensional approach requires a fine-tuned understanding across disciplines. Well, atleast this is where it stands at the moment.

And yes, Queen Sonja of Norway showed up at the inaugeration of the research fellows… and the opening of the Veterinary School at NMBU. The three year long romance has nothing to do with the Queen, but a nod towards the love of research itself. But the real question is: was it really a coincidence that the inaugerations for both Tin’s research fellowship and the Veterinary School, landed on the same day?
