Sixth Month Hiatus
The direct impact of the pandemic on the real estate industry was the shutdown of every gin joint from here to Timbuktu in an attempt to limit the spread of the COVID-19. This led to many tenants without the ability to pay their landlords. Many of these landlords happens to be property developers also. As the developers focus shifted from developing new prospects to save their own hides, this has led to scarcity of projects for a great number of architecture offices, Tin.uno being one of them.
In these moments, Tin & some select collaborators investigated a new design ethos - one defined out of pure necessity and financial sounding in contemporary scarcity - a rising phoenix in the midst of the turmoil - Air Studio. The result is a culmination of rigorous design and analytical studies as inseperable of each other, rooted in market and commercial understanding, among others.
