SDP405 Framing the PhD
This is a course in research design, which is the meta-design of a research project. The starting point for this course is the participant´s own research proposal. The aim of the course is to give participants a solid background for developing a research design for their PhD research.
Tin’s research question evolved from ‘how is the interaction of proptech development and corporate social responsibility changing the trajectory of real estate?’ to ‘What aspects of proptech are influencing the business practices surrounding early stages within the real estate industry?’. Not a big change, but certainly a step ahead in getting an overview on the angle Tin should take, to understand proptech.
Research fellows has to complete 30 ECTS credits of courses for the duration of a PhD-programme, each course consisting of ca. 5 ECTS (6 courses all together). This is a mandatory course Tin have to take. The total count is currently at 5 ECTS credits.
